My 1st birthday Cake Smash Portrait Sessions take place at Paula Lee Photography Studio, located in Myakka City, Fl. It is a beautiful drive out to the country side of town. (I can meet in a park or other location as well, customization and prop availability are not as sufficient if this option is chosen)
Cake Smash sessions are an awesome way to celebrate your baby's first year. Photo's like these can not be captured at the actual party without a lot of distraction in the background. The child can sometimes feel overwhelmed at the party and not give us the magnificent smiles that they share with us daily. This personal day for him or her will allow for uninterrupted portraits focused just on the birthday boy or girl.

- 1 hour of photography services at our studio. Cake Smash Sessions usually last around an hour, but I allow enough time for each child to play and get to know me and the area a little better.

You will be pleasantly surprised by the presentation when your portraits arrive. We pay attention to the details and it shows. Your continued patronage to my photography studio is important and I will make sure you feel that way even after you leave my studio.

What to expect: Your session will start with simple shots of just the cake, then add the child to the portrait for "clean photo's" first, so bring along a nice outfit for your little one to wear. Then we get changed into our cake smashing outfit (if needed) and get down to the fun stuff. Included with your session fee will be "THE CAKE" (theme/colors discussed previous to session date), coordinating decor for the backdrop and props and any other special requests you may have had.
When to book?: To ensure your final images are ready for your little one’s birthday cards or thank you presents I advise booking sooner than later as these sessions are extremely popular, especially on weekends, allowing 3/4 weeks prior to the required date. Having these portraits on display at the birthday celebration is another big request by many moms, so factor that in to when you would like to schedule your Cake Smash session.
